From the bioinformatics analysis, it is also interesting to note that peptides with different sequences (5.3 (19/45) sequence WWFFSFGRVRIE, and 6.2 (8/17) sequence TTEYSFGRTSTL) can exhibit affinities towards the same target (in this case the MDA-MB-231 biomarker β-actin, associated with breast cancer metastasis [37]), while similar peptides differing only in one amino acid have a different target (e.g., 5.3 (14/45), sequence WWFNSFGRVRIE targeting E- cadherin)). This evidence concerns the gene ACTB and breast cancer.
