IGHE and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease: The GI allergy could be either “cell-mediated non-IgE-mediated” or “combined IgE- and cell-mediated” and it includes several different clinical characteristics that include food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES), food protein-induced enteropathy, food protein-induced proctocolitis (FPIP), and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGID).
