As shown in Figure 5C and 5D, β6-siRNA encapsulated in TLPs was more likely to inhibit the activation of MMP-3 and MMP-9 than Lipo2000 and NTLPs (P < 0.01), which possibly resulted in the higher suppression of migration and invasion of colon cancer cells. Here, MMP9 is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
