Score staining of Orai3 was higher in group 2 than in group 1 (Figure 1G: 0.64 ± 0.007 for the group 1, N=133/180 vs. 0.95 ± 0.02 for the group 2, N=47/180; p<0.001). Thus, a high expression of Orai3 was significantly associated with solid and micropapillary predominant invasive adenocarcinomas which are the more aggressive of lung adenocarcinoma. The gene discussed is ORAI3; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
