Western blot analyses showed that the expression of β1-integrin-A, p-Akt (phosphorylated protein kinase B) and p-FAK (phosphorylated focal adhesion kinase) was decreased by CD98-ICD overexpression (Figure 2D), and the decreased expression of β1-integrin-A and p-Akt were further confirmed by immunohistochemical examination of xenograft tumor sections (Figure 2E). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and neoplasm.
