Our findings presented here show an efficient uptake of prostate cancer cell-derived exosomes by osteoclast progenitor cells, resulting in both decreased proliferation of osteoclast precursor cells as well as dedifferentiation of RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis seen as a distinct decrease in formation of mature multinucleated osteoclasts. This evidence concerns the gene TNFSF11 and Familial prostate cancer.
