We therefore examined for mutations of D2HGDH, and its counterpart for L-2HG, L-2HG dehydrogenase (Fig. 1A) in DLD1, HCT116 and RKO cells through sequencing, and found both enzymes to be wild-type in the three colorectal cancer cell lines. This evidence concerns the gene D2HGDH and colorectal cancer.
