In this study, we found that subjects (DM-CHD) with the highest fasting blood glucose concentrations (FPG and 2 h FPG) by an OGTT had higher body mass index (BMI), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), waist circumference (WC), blood pressure (BP), and PAI-1 than subjects (control and pre-DM) with normal glucose concentrations (Table S1). This evidence concerns the gene SERPINE1 and coronary artery disorder.
