As shown in Figure 6B, there was no significant difference in relative mRNA expression of NKG2D between the anti-IFNγ antibody and IgG1 groups (n = 10 per group, p > 0.05), suggesting that while IFNγ contributes functionally to anti-leukemia activity of NK cells induced by in vivo IL pre-activation and re-stimulation, it acts likely via a mechanism independent of NKG2D.
