In the present study, 10 widely-evaluated inflammatory biomarkers were measured in all study participants, including CRP, interleukin 1 alpha (IL-1a), interleukin 1 beta (IL-1b), interleukin 6 (IL-6), IL-10, interferon-gamma (IFN-r), transforming growth factor alpha (TGF-a), macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC), B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC) and monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG), and they were previously reported to be associated with lung cancer [11–16, 18, 19]. The gene discussed is CCL22; the disease is lung cancer.
