Briefly, we found a significant accumulation of effector T cells (Temra; CD45RA+CD62L−) and an even more pronounced decrease of effector memory T cells (Tem; CD45RA−CD62L−) within the CD8+ T cell pool in the myeloma bone marrow (Table 3, Fig. 1a, b). The gene discussed is SELL; the disease is plasma cell myeloma.
