The altered amount of serum white blood cells (WBC), interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in HCC animals were dose-dependently increased, whereas activities of serum alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) were dose-dependently decreased in the TPS-treated animals. Here, TNF is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
