PGF and preeclampsia: De Vivo et al. [21] found in their study that sFlt1/PlGF ratio in maternal serum was the most accurate marker for predicting preeclampsia in both trimesters (second and third trimester), with a diagnostic accuracy of 88.5%, sensitivity of 88.5%, specificity of 88.5%, PPV of 88.5%, NPV of 88.5%, LR+ of 7.7%, and LR− of 0.13%.
