Using the generated mouse strain, we will obtain further insight into the involvement of Ndst4 in intestinal diseases through dextran sulfate sodium-induced colitis and azoxymethane/dextran sulfate sodium-induced tumorigenesis models, which are particularly useful tools for elucidating the tumor suppressor roles of NDST4 in the tumorigenesis and progression of human colorectal cancer.
