Furthermore, to investigate the relationship between the expressional level of both Lin28A and Lin28B in the same patient, we have analyzed the correlation between Lin28A and Lin28B in all of the patient's samples, and the result revealed that there is no significant correlation between the protein level of Lin28A and Lin28B in the same colon cancer sample (Figure 2B, r=−0.107, P>0.05), however, the mRNA level of Lin28A and Lin28B showed a significant positive correlation (Figure 2D, r=0.351, P<0.01). Here, LIN28B is linked to colonic neoplasm.
