TLR3 and head and neck carcinoma: To address the potential role of TLR3 in malignant cells growth, we stimulated several head and neck carcinoma cell lines, namely CNE1, SQ20B, FaDu and HONE1 (which had previously been tested for TLR3 expression [8]), with the synthetic TLR3 agonist Poly(A:U) and assessed their growth ratio by repeated cell counts.
