Given our results that showed positive correlations among cytoplasmic Rac1, FLNa, and integrin β2, it is likely that FilGAP may serve as a key regulator for modulation of Rac1 activity through its interaction with the FLNa/integrin β2 axis in astrocytoma cells. This evidence concerns the gene ARHGAP24 and astrocytoma (excluding glioblastoma).
