In our present work, we mostly focus on EPHB6 function in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells, since triple-negative breast tumours that miss expression of the estrogen and progesterone receptors, and do not overexpress HER2 represent the most aggressive breast cancer subtype, and a targeted therapy for the effective treatment of this lethal malignancy remains elusive [30]. The gene discussed is EPHB6; the disease is breast cancer.
