Genes for two types of calcium channels, Cacna1h (voltage-dependent T-type calcium channel subunit α-1H) and Cacng1 (voltage-dependent calcium channel γ-1 subunit) showed differential expression in all three groups and frequently included various categories in related genes, such as “calcium or divalent ion transport” (Table 5, Table 6 and Table 7, GO processes) and “epilepsy”, “brain diseases”, and “seizures” (Table 5, Table 6 and Table 7, diseases). This evidence concerns the gene CACNG1 and brain disorder.
