CXCR1 and gastric cancer: In both discovery data set and validation data set, patients with low CXCR1 expression had obviously better 5-year OS (P < 0.001, Hazard Ratio (HR): 0.37, 95% Confidence Interval (CI): 0.24-0.58 and P = 0.0031, HR: 0.52, 95% CI: 0.34-0.81, respectively; Figure 2C and Figure 3A) than those with high CXCR1 expression, implying a vital influence of CXCR1 expression on clinical outcome of resectable gastric cancer patients.
