The AUROC for the diagnosis of mild vs significant NAFLD was 0.89 (95% CI: 0.80%‐0.98%; P<.0001) and a LIF cut‐off of 1.4 had a sensitivity of 90% (95% CI: 79%‐96%) and specificity of 77% (95% CI: 46%‐95%; Table 2). Here, LIF is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
