Compared to control, as mRNA expression of the Th1-associated chemokine receptors, both of CCR5 and CXCR3 were elevated in active ITP patients (2.05 ± 0.20 vs 1.03 ± 0.06, 4.06 ± 0.23 vs 1.06 ± 0.08, respectively) (Fig. 3a, b). This evidence concerns the gene CCR5 and autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura.
