Since our transcriptome analysis suggested a close link among cell cycle regulation, ROS metabolism and FOXO signaling pathway in bladder cancer, we analyzed alteration of transcriptional factor FOXO3a, a key subtype in the FOXO family involving in AKT/FOXO3a/β-catenin pathway [43,44,45] and playing a key role in regulating cell cycle, oxidative stress response and apoptosis [46,47,48]. The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
