Our recent studies of lung SCC revealed that miR-1/miR-133a clustered miRNAs, miR-206 and the miR-29-family inhibited cancer cell migration and invasion through targeting of several oncogenic genes, such as coronin-1C (CORO1C), c-MET and lysyl oxidase like 2 (LOXL2) [15–17]. The gene discussed is CORO1C; the disease is cancer.
