Ceravolo et al. targeted the relationship between CSF t-tau and p-tau and glucose metabolism in a cohort of 28 subjects with probable AD and showed a significant negative correlation between both t-tau and p-tau and glucose metabolism bilaterally in the temporal lobe, the parietal lobe, and the entorhinal/hippocampal region [52].
