Recent in vitro studies have found that LMP1, an EBV-encoded antigen, was able to upregulate PD-L1 expression in EBV-associated malignancies, such as Hodgkin’s lymphoma, post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma [37, 45]. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
