While it must be confirmed that exercise does not lower angptl2 in post-ACS women, our study clearly shows that chronic exercise reduces angptl2 in post-ACS men, extending the work of Muramoto et al. performed in healthy overweight men [28] and our previous study assessing the effect of acute exercise on angptl2 in CAD patients [14].
