Recently, we have reported that rabphilin-3A, a rab3a effector protein, might be a major autoantigen in infundibulo-neurohypophysitis (LINH), which causes central diabetes insipidus (CDI) due to insufficient AVP secretion, and autoantibodies against rabphilin-3A might be diagnostic markers for LINH [16]. This evidence concerns the gene RPH3A and Central diabetes insipidus.
