NFKB1 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: Ongoing artificial light therapy reduced hepatic expression of pro-inflammatory genes like TNFα (and potentially NF-κB signalling) in Lewis rats with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis induced by feeding them a choline-deficient and iron-supplemented L-amino acid-defined diet [76], suggesting that UVR might suppress NF-κB and/or other pathways that contribute towards liver inflammation.
