Among identified ∆Np63α-regulated genes there was also one gene encoding miRNA, miR-205, which is a known target of p63 in bladder [45] and prostate carcinomas [46] and which was shown to be down-regulated in TNBC [47] and suggested to play a tumour suppressor role in TNBC cells [48]. Here, TP63 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
