These data suggest that ALDH1A3 isoenzyme play a negligible role in the conversion of the ALDH substrate, BODIPY-aminoacetaldehyde, to fluorescent BODIPY-aminoacetate reaction products in NB cells, in contrast to breast cancer and non-small cell lung carcinoma [28, 29].
