To demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework in practice, we applied our method to three biological network models for finding attractors responsible for proliferation or apoptosis phenotypes: the first was a Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) model [6] with 53 nodes and 88 links, the second was a colitis-associated colon cancer (CACC) model [10] with 70 nodes and 152 links and the last was the simplified cancer pathways (SCP) model [9] with 96 nodes and 265 links.
