Using this shRNA, we now find that knockdown of Ran in breast cancer cell lines MDA MB231 (Figure 1A), MCF10AT (Figure 1B) and MDA MB157 (Figure 1C) and lung cancer cell lines (A549 (Figure 1D), H157 (Figure 1E) and H1299 (Figure 1F)) resulted in down-regulation of Met protein. The gene discussed is RAN; the disease is lung carcinoma.
