Two FDA (US Food and Drug Administration)-approved proteasome inhibitors, Bortezomib (for treating multiple myeloma) and Ixazomib (for treating relapsed/refractory myeloma, in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone), demonstrate significant anti-tumor effects majorly via blocking the activation of NF-κB pathway [19, 26–29], and are regarded as promising anti-NB regimen [26]. Here, NFKB1 is linked to plasma cell myeloma.
