CCL2 and neoplasm: We examined a panel of angiogenesis-associated proteins and identified a marked increase in many angiogenesis-associated proteins in tumour lysates from DIO mice relative to those from ND mice (Fig. 4a, left panels, red boxes indicate reference spots for loading), including the pro-angiogenic inflammatory chemokines CXCL1, CCL2 and CCL3 (refs 14, 25, 26; Fig. 4a, right panel).
