PTK2 and Hypercholesterolemia: In summary, we showed FAK contributed to foot process effacement and proteinuria in a rat model of short‐term hypercholesterolaemia and modulated podocyte F‐actin re‐organization via activating p38 MAPK in response to ox‐LDL, providing evidence for early mechanisms of hypercholesterolaemia‐caused renal damage.
