Here, we demonstrate that 1,25(OH)2D3 treatment of immature mo-DC from healthy controls results in significantly lower expression levels of CD86 and of HLA-DR as compared to conventional DC, while 1,25(OH)2D3-treated mo-DC from MS patients only show lower expression levels of HLA-DR as compared to conventional mo-DC (Figures 2(a) and 2(c)). The gene discussed is CD86; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
