OGT and neoplasm: Increased O-GlcNAcylation, termed hyper O-GlcNAcylation, and elevated OGT levels have been observed in various tumor types, including cancers of the breast, lung, liver, bladder, endometrial, prostate, pancreas, and colon (Ying et al., 2012; Gu et al., 2010; Mi et al., 2011; Zhu et al., 2012; Rozanski et al., 2012; Krześlak et al., 2012b; Lynch et al., 2012).
