Szajnik et al. [83] found that exosomes from the serum of patients with stage Шc ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer or primary peritoneal cancer also mediate the transformation of CD4+CD25neg T cells into CD4+CD25highFoxp3+ Tregs, increase the expression of IL-10, TGF-1, FasL, cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen-4, perforin and granzyme B, and enhance STAT3 phosphorylation. Here, CD4 is linked to peritoneum cancer.
