STX11 was a common target of miR-92a and miR-196b. These target genes have been proven to exert important anti-tumor effects as follows: TLR4 and CD86 can activate the anti-tumor effect of NK-cells, KLF11 is a tumor suppressor gene in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)46, and STX11 defects may be associated with MDS and AML47. Here, CD86 is linked to myelodysplastic syndrome.
