Patients with BMI ≥30 presented with lower serum concentrations of NT-proBNP than those with BMI <30; however, this relationship was statistically significant solely for patients withPE (21.32 vs. 57.78 pg/ml; Z = 2.1920, p = 0.0284) and GH (54.00 vs.155.55 pg/ml; Z = 2.3784, p = 0.0156), but neither for women GDM nor for the controls. Here, NPPB is linked to gestational diabetes.
