SDS22 is a putative tumor suppressor gene in Drosophila, as loss of SDS22 facilitates Ras-mediated transformation by promoting tumor growth and metastasis.43 We found that SDS22 knockdown promoted proliferation, migration and invasion of T29 and SKOV3 cells (Figures 6a and b; Supplementary Figures S7a and b). This evidence concerns the gene PPP1R7 and neoplasm.
