A random-effects model showed the CD147 positive expression rate in prostate cancer tissues was higher than that in benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues (OR = 20.54, 95% CI = 8.20–51.44, P < 0.00001) with significant heterogeneity (P = 0.0009, I2 = 71%) (Fig 2B). The gene discussed is BSG; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
