Correlations of all 7 cervical carcinoma genes were statistically significant after Bonferroni correction but because of the small sample size, only 22 of the lung squamous cell carcinoma genes were significant after correcting for multiple testing (NTHL1, ALKBH2, ALKBH3, PMS1, GTF2H3, GTF2H4, MNAT1, RAD51B-CTLA4, XRCC3, RAD54B, SHFM1, EME1, FANCC, BRCA2, FANCE, FAAP20, PRKDC, REV3L, SPRTN, RNF8, SETMAR, CHEK1-CD274, TP53BP1). The gene discussed is SETMAR; the disease is squamous cell lung carcinoma.
