NAMPT and Parkinson disease: Pearson correlation analysis demonstrated that relative abundance of NAMPT mRNA did not correlate with any of the clinical variables including Hoehn & Yahr (p = 0.26), Movement Disorder Society-sponsored revision of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) total (p = 0.86), MDS-UPDRS part I (p = 0.24), MDS-UPDRS part I patient questionnaire (p = 0.21), MDS-UPDRS part II patient questionnaire (p = 0.80), MDS-UPDRS part III patient questionnaire (p = 0.93), and University of Pennsylvania Smell Identification Test (UPSIT) (p = 0.24).
