In the present study, we investigated the role of PAMP/MAMP signal receptors in the resistance of Arabidopsis against the infection of clubroot pathogen, and we found that Arabidposis mutant fls2 and bak1 were as susceptible to P. brassicae as wild-type plants; however, mutant bik1 displayed strong resistance to P. brassicae, and exhibited suppressed root hair and cortical infections. Here, BAK1 is linked to infection.
