Altogether, our findings demonstrated that myeloid cell-specific deletion of lipin-1 ameliorated hepatic inflammation but not steatosis and alleviated liver injury in the ethanol-fed mice largely via induction of endocrine adiponectin-FGF15 axis and stimulation of adiponectin-FGF15 mediated hepatic signaling (Fig. 8).
