CNR1 and Hypertension: Gyombolai et al. (2012) suggested that the Ang II-induced hypertension is connected with the activation of CB1 receptors, e.g. due to (1) the heterodimerization of CB1 and AT1 receptors (Rozenfeld et al. 2011) or (2) Ang II–induced endocannabinoid release that inhibits the GABAergic tone.
