It is reported that DAPT is widely used as a biological tool in cell cycle, cancer, apoptosis and neurobiology studies, which is currently recommended as a useful drug to treat cancers, neurodegenerative diseases, inflammation, etc. In our study, DAPT markedly blocked the expression of p-JNK and active caspase 3, and inhibited the kinase activity of Notch-1 in the thrombin-induced cell model. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is cancer.
