To evaluate the molecular differences of primary and engrafted tumors, we prepared a TMA to include all engrafted tumors (124 tumors) generated from eight cases (Additional file 1: Figure S1) and examined the biomarkers which were relevant to HGSC, including tumor signature markers (ER, PR, P53, P16), tumor proliferation (Ki-67, P21, P16), invasion (HMGA2), and stem cells (ALDH1, CD24, CD133) (Fig. 6a-f and Additional file 1: Table S4). The gene discussed is PROM1; the disease is neoplasm.
